GoldZip operates in Singapore by GoldZip Digital Pte. Ltd., a group member company of the Hong Kong Gold Exchange. Each GoldZip token is backed by 1 gram of 99.99% physical fine gold stored in HKGX recognised and approved gold vaults. Holders of GoldZip token may redeem GoldZip Eligible Gold Bars upon complying with AML requirements. Hong Kong Gold Exchange (HKGX) is Hong Kong’s sole spot gold and silver exchange. It was established through the corporatized restructuring of the Chinese Gold& Silver Exchange Society(CGSE), a historic institution with over 115 years of legacy. Officially launched on January 1, 2025, HKGX marks a new chapter in Hong Kong's precious metals industry. HKGX is currently formed by 143 exchange shareholder members, and offers comprehensive facilities, services and trading platform for participants in precious metals trading.
